Besides heading back to school, girls of all ages are starting an exciting new season of Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders or Rangers in our communities.

Girl Guides of Calgary offers 14 differ­ent units of girls who meet in the Westhills areas, with over 260 girl members and al­most 60 adult volunteers. Four of these units meet at the Strathcona Communi­ty Centre. If you’re interested in getting your child involved, please contact sarcee hills_district@hotmail.com today!

Girls who are 5 years old as of October are welcomed into Sparks; Grades 2 and 3 are Brownies; Grades 4-5-6 are Guides; Junior High are Pathfinders; and Senior High are Rangers. You don’t have to have been a member previously to join—girls and adult women are welcomed at any age.
