Leadership Matters are a series of etiquette courses assisting junior high students to handle the challenges of school, extra-curricular activities, etc. With their development in mind, the chosen topics will give them an understanding of what behaviors are expected and respected in social scenarios—helping to diminish feelings of uncertainty and boost confidence. Classes include games & role-playing for the students. Topics include:

• Meet n’ Greet—introductions, manners, art of conversation
• Sharing—cyber civility & social networking, cyber bullying, professional phone manners, texting
• Proper attire (outside & inside)— good grooming
• Interview skills for jobs
• Dining etiquette—casual & formal table setting, Let’s Eat…tips on napkin use, 6 rules for chewing, negotiate the utensils
